Samsung has always been a pioneer in innovative technology and Samsung LED TVs have been the talk of the town with its distributors and retailers scattered worldwide and an increasing hunger among people to own their products, particularly their range of LED TVs.
Samsung’s latest product in the LED High Definition (HD) TV genre is the Samsung 65" Class 8000 Series 3D 1080p LED HDTV, preceded by the 55" Class 9000 Series 3D 1080p LED HDTV. Priced at $5,999.99, the product has garnered fervent devotees, if one is to believe the many sprinklings of favorable reviews that dot cyberspace. Says one satisfied customer, ‘To all of you out there who are shopping around for a TV, this one will knock you off your feet. I have never seen anything like this before’ while another quips, ‘This TV is probably the best TV on the market right now!’
Its predecessor, also priced at $5,999 is part of the coveted Series 9 of Samsung’s LED HDTV ensemble, which was launched in the later part of 2008. It is the second generation HDTV which used Samsung’s LED SmartLighting technology, which vastly improves the appearance of each individual pixel, thereby giving rise to a brilliant color quality, which in itself is bolstered by the Ultra Clear Panel Technology that removes any light interference for improved picture quality. Additionally, it boasts of USB 2.0 connectivity, four HDMI slots as well as an internal flash memory.
Similar facilities are available on purchase of the 8000 series as well. The one major factor common to both is the fact that they both offer the 3D cinematic experience, unique to Samsung’s LED HDTVs. And of course, even the Samsung 9000 series, has proved to be Samsung’s latest pride, with rave reviews pouring in from many quarters. The upgrading of its movie experience from 2D to 3D is what people have taken to the most, apart from the superior picture quality and sleek model appearance.
Meanwhile, Samsung is all geared up to launch its upgraded 6000, 6400, 7000 and 8000 series LED HDTVs, under a banner that it calls the Samsung Smart TV. Keep a look out for 55" LED 6000, 7000 and 8000 series Smart TV as well as the 46" LED 6400 series Smart TV. The prices of these new models have not yet been announced by Samsung, but they show promise, in that the Smart TV allows web connection as well as web connected Samsung Applications, in addition to high 2D and 3D picture quality.
Now for the real deal acquisition. If you wish to buy any Samsung LED HDTV product, new or used, then Amazon is the way to go. For e.g., a new 65" 8000 series LED HDTV can be obtained online from Amazon from a third party seller, at around $4,600/ piece, excluding shipping costs. A used piece of the same category would cost around $4,000/ piece excluding shipping charges, which is a fantastic deal, provided only that the used product is in good condition.
